The Terminal window is located at the bottom of the MT4 Client Terminal.

It allows traders to manage their trades, view all open positions and pending orders, view closed trades, receive/read financial news, and set alerts to be notified when certain conditions are met, Etc.

More specifically, the Trade tab displays position-related and account-related information such as:

Profit – The current floating Profit/Loss
Balance - The amount of money in the account, excluding credit and the floating profit of currently open orders.
Equity - The amount of money a trader has in their trading account (i.e., their Balance) plus or minus any profit or loss from open positions.
Margin - Margin is the amount of funds the broker requires from the trader to cover any potential losses since a trader is allowed to use more capital than the amount he or she initially deposited.
Free Margin - Free Margin is the money in a trading account that is available for trading. It is calculated:
Equity – Margin
Margin Level – It is the ratio of Equity to Margin. It is calculated as follows: (Equity / Margin) * 100

The Account History tab displays a list of all closed positions and the corresponding operations performed on them, such as Take Profit and Stop Loss.
